A quick note before you start
The person who buys the subscription remains the account holder.
The subscription is set up using the purchaser's account, which keeps all of the order and payment information safely in one place.
The recipient simply receives the box you have chosen for them.
If they would like to change their book genre, delivery address or any other subscription details once they have received their gift, they can simply contact us and we will be very happy to make the change for them.
They don't need to worry about managing an account. We will help them with anything they need.

There is no right or wrong choice. It just depends on what you think they would enjoy most.
The two Book Clubs are perfect if you think they would enjoy being part of a reading community. They can read the same book as other members, join online meetings, chat about the book and take part in the Book Club community.
The Box of Books and Book & Pamper Box are a little different. They are more focused on the surprise of receiving lovely books and treats through the post, with the added benefit that the recipient can choose their own book genre.
For readers who would love to read together with a community.

The simple setup
It only takes a few moments to turn any of our subscriptions into a thoughtful gift.
Go to the subscription product you think they will love.
At checkout, select:
Buying as a gift?
This will show the gift options.
You will be able to enter:
We will only use the recipient email for useful updates about their subscription, such as Book Club meeting invites or other information they may need once their subscription has started.
We will not send a welcome email to this address, so you can keep the gift a surprise until you are ready to tell them.
We will send their subscription straight to their door each month for the number of boxes you have chosen.
A little reassurance
Don't worry. You have a couple of options, and we can help with either one.
If you are buying a Box of Books or Book & Pamper Box and you are not sure what genre they would like, we suggest choosing something broad such as Fiction.
They can then email us after receiving their first box and let us know which genre they would prefer for their next box.
We can easily update their preference for them.
If you want the recipient to choose their own genre from the beginning, you can choose a later start date for their subscription.
This gives you time to tell them about their gift first. Once they know about their gift, you can log back into your account and change the genre to the one they would like before their subscription starts.
If you choose The Book Club or Premium Fantasy Book Club, there is no genre choice to worry about. Everyone receives the same monthly book, so you can simply choose the Book Club you think they would enjoy and let the surprise begin.
This makes the Book Clubs a particularly easy gift if you don't know exactly what they like to read.
No extra login needed
The person who buys the subscription remains the account holder.
This means all of the order and payment information stays safely with the person who bought the gift.
The recipient doesn't need their own login. They simply receive the subscription you have chosen for them.
If they would like to change their genre, delivery address or anything else about their subscription, they can contact us and we will be happy to sort it for them.
This means they don't need to worry about logging into an account or managing anything themselves.
Just get in touch if the recipient would like to change anything. We can take care of it for them.

Their subscription box will arrive at their door each month for the number of boxes you have chosen.
They can let us know if they would like to change their book genre. We will be very happy to update their preference.
They can start enjoying the monthly book and become part of the Book Club community. They can join the online meetings, book chats and other activities included with their club.
The Members Hub page is password protected. The person who set up the gift at checkout will receive an automated email with the Members Hub link and password. Please remember to forward this email to the recipient, as they will need the link and password to join the WhatsApp group, find the meeting links and access the other club information.
A little something to unwrap
If you are buying a subscription as a gift but their first box won't arrive until later, you can download one of our printable gift certificates to give to them.
Simply choose the one that matches the gift you have bought, print it out and give it to them.
Nothing else to remember
The gift will automatically finish once all of the gifted boxes have been sent.
For example, if you choose 6 boxes, they will receive 6 boxes and then the gift will end.
If they have loved their subscription and want to continue receiving it, they can start a new subscription themselves.
